Maria Cristina Matteucci is an Associate Professor in Developmental and Educational Psychology at the University of Bologna's Department of Education Studies 'Giovanni Maria Bertin'. She holds qualifications for Full Professorship and is a leader in school psychology research, focusing on learning processes, psychosocial conditions in education, and e-learning environments. She leads the PRIN 2022-funded project on school psychology service models and coordinates the EARLI Centre for Excellence in Research (E-CER) since 2024.

Research Interests: Her work addresses educational practices, teacher professionalism, and the impact of digital tools on learning. She has spearheaded projects like 'Presence and Practice of School Psychology in Italy' (SSSP-funded) and EU initiatives on e-learning and social networks in education.
