Maria Bresich

Maria Bresich is a PreDoc Researcher at the Faculty of Informatics, Vienna University of Technology, specializing in algorithms and optimization. She works in the Department of Algorithms and Complexity (E192-01) and focuses on hybrid metaheuristics, integer programming, and dynamic routing problems.

Her research includes projects on:

• Dynamic vehicle routing with reinforcement learning
• Electric Dial-A-Ride optimization with on-the-fly charging station insertion
• Directed Feedback Vertex Set Problem using hybrid approaches

She has supervised diploma theses on elevator control optimization and presented her work at conferences including GECCO and the HRI European Graduate Network Symposium.
