Maria Angeles Garcia Fernandez

Maria Angeles Garcia Fernandez is a Researcher at the Department of Forensic Sciences, Pathological Anatomy, Gynecology and Obstetrics and Pediatrics, within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Santiago de Compostela. She holds a Doctorate from the same university (1992), having completed her thesis titled Determination of organophosphorus pesticide residues in honey under the supervision of Dra. María Isabel Fernández García and Dr. Maria Herminia Bollain Rodríguez.

Her research focuses on Toxicology, particularly pesticide residue analysis and environmental contaminants. She has been affiliated with the TOX-L Toxicology-Lugo research group.
