Maria-Anca MAICAN

Maria-Anca MAICAN is a Lecturer in the Department of Literature and Cultural Studies at the Faculty of Letters, University of Brașov (UNITBV). Her research focuses on language learning dynamics in specific professional contexts, particularly Business English, and explores cognitive, emotional, and sustainable aspects of foreign language education. She investigates how career adaptability intersects with language skills in volatile labor markets and examines online learning behaviors during crises like the pandemic. Her work also addresses European language policies and their impact on higher education frameworks.
