Maria Agamirova is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Industrial and Market Studies (Laboratory of Competition and Antimonopoly Policy) at HSE University. She has been affiliated with HSE since 2011.
- Education: Candidate of Sciences (PhD equivalent) from Lomonosov Moscow State University (2016), Master’s (2010) from Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics, Bachelor’s (2008) from Novosibirsk State University.
Research interests focus on cooperative specific investments, vertical restraints, and antitrust in industrial organization. Her work examines institutional frameworks governing vertical agreements and market dynamics, particularly in digital platforms and state-owned enterprises.
