Mari Tavasti

Mari Tavasti serves as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Health and Well-being and the Nursing department at Turku University of Applied Sciences, based at the Kupittaan campus in Turku, Finland. Her role integrates academic instruction with research focused on contemporary health care delivery systems.

Her research interests center on nursing within hybrid health environments, emphasizing the integration of digital technologies and physical care models to enhance patient well-being. As a core member of the “Developing Better Health Care in Hybrid World” research group, she investigates innovative approaches to health care systems that bridge virtual and in-person service delivery, with specific attention to improving accessibility and quality in nursing practice.
