Dr. Margret McCue-Enser is an Associate Professor at St. Catherine University, affiliated with the Departments of Communication Studies and Electronic Media Studies. She holds a PhD and specializes in rhetoric of place, Indigenous activism, and settler colonialism.
Her research critically examines power dynamics in public discourse, particularly through the lens of Native American figures like Ada Deer. Recent work explores decolonization strategies and settler-colonial narratives in institutional contexts.
She has received recognition including the 2021 top article award from the National Communication Association for her work on genocide memorials and settler colonialism.
