Dr. Margot Saher is a Senior Lecturer in Ocean Sciences at Bangor University's School of Ocean Sciences (SOS), serving as SOS EDI Lead and Academic Integrity Officer. She holds a PhD (2007) and MSc from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, specializing in paleoclimatology and tectonics. Her research focuses on glacial history, sea level changes, and the British-Irish Ice Sheet, with fieldwork in the North Atlantic and Arctic regions.
Teaching responsibilities include modules like Earth, Climate and Evolution (OSX1003), Ice and Oceans (OSX2011), and advanced fieldwork (OSX3007).
