Prof. Dr. Margit Berg is a Professor of Pedagogy and Didactics in the field of Language and Communication at Ludwigsburg University of Education, where she also serves as Head of Department and Member of the University Council. Her academic journey includes a Doctorate (Dr. paed.) from the Heidelberg University of Education (2006), focusing on syntactic skill promotion in children with language disorders. Prior to her professorship, she held roles as Senior Academic Councillor at Heidelberg University of Education, Vice Principal of a speech therapy school, and teacher in special education settings.
Her research emphasizes language comprehension disorders, mathematical abilities in children with Specific Language Development Disorders (SSLD), and pedagogical strategies for speech-impaired education. Notable projects include the MuSE-Pro morphological/syntactic development standardization, PRIMA®Sprache comparative analyses, and the Ki.SSES-Proluba longitudinal study on educational interventions.
