Margarida Prieto

Margarida Penetra Prieto is an Assistant Professor at Lusófona University in Lisbon and a Researcher at the Center for Research and Studies in Fine Arts (CIEBA). She holds a PhD (2013), Master's (2008), and Bachelor's (1999) in Painting from the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Fine Arts. She also serves as Director of the 1st cycle in Visual Arts at Lusófona University and the Organic Unit at the Polytechnic Institute of Lusophony.

Her research often analyzes the works of artists like Rui Macedo and Teresa Palma Rodrigues, focusing on territorial representation and artistic dialogue.
