Margaret Rioga is an Associate Professor of Education and Professional Practice and Head of Practice Learning at the Institute of Health and Social Care, Buckinghamshire New University. She holds roles as a Trustee of the Society of African Nurses and Midwives, Chair of the United Kingdom Simulated Practice Learning Group, and External Examiner at the University of Huddersfield. Her expertise spans mental health nursing, strengths-based care approaches, recovery colleges, and peer support systems. She leads initiatives like the Peer Enhanced e-Placement (PEEP) project, funded by NHS England, and chairs the Race Equality Network (REN) promoting diversity within BNU.
