Margaret MacMillan

Margaret MacMillan is a Professor and Division Director of the Division of Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplantation & Cellular Therapy within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota. She serves as a BMT Specialist at the Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) Center and holds the position of Vice-President on the Board of Directors of the American Society for Transplantation & Cellular Therapy.

Her clinical and research expertise centers on pediatric blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapy, with specialized focus on hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for children with hematologic malignancies and non-malignant disorders. She actively contributes to advancing cellular therapies including CAR-T cell treatments within pediatric oncology and hematology contexts.

Dr. MacMillan leads the multidisciplinary Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplantation & Cellular Therapy division at the University of Minnesota, which operates from the Minneapolis campus (420 Delaware Street SE, Mayo Mail Code 366) and integrates clinical care, research innovation, and national professional leadership through her ASTCT role.
