Professor Margaret A. Burnham is a University Distinguished Professor of Law at Northeastern University School of Law. She directs the Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Project (CRRJ) and co-directs the Center for Law, Equity and Race (CLEAR). Her work focuses on civil/human rights, constitutional law, and international criminal law, with a particular emphasis on racial justice and reparations. She has held roles including Massachusetts judiciary associate justice, civil rights attorney, and international human rights commissioner.
