Maren Pink

Maren Pink is a Senior Scientist at the Department of Chemistry, Indiana University Bloomington, where she directs the Molecular Structure Center—a service and research facility focused on crystallography and structural chemistry. She coordinates the Service Crystallography at the Advanced Photon Source (SCrAPS) program and the Reciprocal Net project, and serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Chemical Crystallography.

• Educated with Diplom (M.S.) and Doctor rer. Nat. (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from Universität Leipzig, Germany.
• Former Marie Curie research fellow at Università di Bologna, Italy, and postdoctoral research associate at the University of Minnesota.

Her research focuses on X-ray diffraction methods, twinning, phase transitions, and solid-state reaction mechanisms. She contributes to structural and materials chemistry through technical and collaborative initiatives.
