Marek Dobosz is a full professor at the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), affiliated with the Institute of Metrology and Biomedical Engineering under the Faculty of Mechatronics. He previously worked in the Precise Mechanics Department.

Research Interests: Specializes in dimensional metrology, focusing on interferometry and laser diodes for industrial measurements of geometrical parameters. Key contributions include high-resolution interferometric displacement transducers, laser diode frequency stabilization, and touchless interferometer gauge block calibrations.
Expertise spans laser measurement systems, optoelectronics, angular micro-deflection measurement, and photo detection systems for fringe-type interferometers. His work bridges mechanical engineering, applied physics, and optical technologies.
