Marcy Wallace is a former director of the Institute for Research on Teaching and Learning (IRTL) and currently serves as an adjunct associate professor emeritus at Michigan State University. She holds a Ph.D. from Michigan State University and is affiliated with the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education within the College of Education. Her primary roles include supporting the IRTL as needed and conducting research on STEM education pathways. Wallace's research focuses on analyzing high school course sequences' impact on college enrollment, particularly in mathematics and science teacher training.
Her expertise spans education policy, teacher preparation programs, and data-driven approaches to improving student achievement.
