Marcy Taylor is a Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature and currently serves as Associate Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. She has held multiple administrative positions including Director of Composition (1999–2005), Department Chair (2005–2011), Assistant Dean (2012–2016), and Interim Dean (2018). Taylor co-founded the journal Pedagogy: Critical Approaches to Teaching Literature, Language Composition and Culture in 1997, which won the Best New Journal Award in 2001.
