Marcus Schmidt

Prof. Dr. Marcus Schmidt is a full Professor at Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE), where he holds the Professorship for Technologies for Sustainable Production and Quality Assurance of Plant-Based Foods. His role centers on advancing sustainable methods for producing and guaranteeing the quality of plant-derived foods.

His research interests encompass sustainable agriculture, plant-based food production technologies, and quality assurance systems, with a strong emphasis on agroecological approaches and innovative food-processing techniques.
