Marcus Morse is Associate Professor in Outdoor and Environmental Education at the University of Tasmania, where he directs the Bachelor of Outdoor and Environmental Education and Diploma of Nature Based Guiding. His place-responsive teaching philosophy integrates wilderness experience with critical pedagogy.
Research explores wild pedagogies, community engagement through CityStudio programs, and environmental sustainability education. Recent publications examine co-creative pedagogies and river ecologies.

He co-founded the Wild Pedagogies international research group and maintains professional work as a Paddle Australia kayak instructor.
