Dr. Marcus Herrmann is a Professor of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at Arizona State University's School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy. He is affiliated with the Center for Negative Carbon Emissions and has held roles as a visiting scientist at Eindhoven University of Technology (2001) and a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University's Center for Turbulence Research (CTR, 2002). His research focuses on fluid mechanics, multiphase flows, atomization processes, and numerical methods for discontinuous interfaces. He has led numerous grants from NASA, NSF, and industry partners like Honeywell, focusing on LES models, interface dynamics, and turbulent flow simulations.
