Dr. Marcos Freire de Andrade Neves is a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the Institute for Social and Cultural Anthropology, Freie Universität Berlin, specializing in Medical Anthropology and Global Health. His work examines bio- and necropolitical practices, particularly euthanasia, the death penalty, and assisted suicide, through transnational lenses involving medicines, technologies, and legal frameworks.
