Marcos Barros

Marcos Barros is a Full Professor at the Department of People, Organizations and Society at Grenoble École de Management (France). His research focuses on alternative organizational forms, institutional dynamics, technology/social media impacts, and critical perspectives on organizational change, identity, and resistance. He holds editorial roles as Associate Editor at Organization and co-Chair of the Critical Management Studies Division at the Academy of Management.

His research spans topics like prefigurative politics in social movements, digital labor dynamics, and the paradoxes of 'happy' corporate cultures. His work critiques mainstream management practices through lenses of decolonial theory, agnotology (study of ignorance), and digital subjectivity.
