Marco Taschek

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Marco Taschek serves as a Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Environmental Technology, Amberg-Weiden University of Applied Sciences, where he is actively affiliated with the Competence Center Combined Heat and Power. His institutional responsibilities include acting as Internship Supervisor for EEK, EZ, BU, UT, and TE academic programs, with his office located in Building D, Room 158, Amberg.

His research centers on thermodynamic principles in energy conversion systems, specializing in piston machinery and engine development. Current investigations prioritize hydrogen-compatible combustion processes and alternative fuel integration within combined heat and power (CHP) units, utilizing high-speed optical diagnostics for real-time analysis of combustion dynamics and efficiency optimization.
