Marco Fontana

Marco Fontana is a Lecturer at the Lucerne School of Business, part of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. He holds a Master in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen (1986) and is a Swiss Certified Public Accountant (since 1990). His professional experience spans over three decades, including roles as CFO of AC-Service Group (1994–2008) and head of finance departments in prominent firms such as Revisuisse Price Waterhouse. He has been teaching at Lucerne University since 2010, focusing on financial reporting, corporate finance, and auditing.

Fontana is actively involved in professional committees, including membership in the Bonstetten Community Audit Commission and teaching roles in judicial accounting training programs for Zurich’s courts. He has also led the CAS program in Financial and Accounting for Jurists at the Institute of Financial Services Zug (IFZ).
