Marco Bevolo

Marco Bevolo is a Lecturer in International Leisure Management at Breda University of Applied Sciences, affiliated with the Academy for Leisure & Events. He holds a PhD from Tilburg University (2016) and an MSc (Dottore in Lettere Moderne) from the University of Turin (1994). His expertise spans urban futures, strategic design, and foresight methodologies. He leads Marco Bevolo Consulting and serves as Principal Research Urban Futures for Philips Lighting.

Research focuses on placemaking, cultural futures, and design-driven innovation. Notable contributions include books like city.people.light (2007) and Premium by Design (2011).
