Marco Andreolli is a Temporary Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at the University of Verona, affiliated with the Faculty of Science and Engineering. His research focuses on environmental microbiology and microbial biotechnology, particularly the interaction of microorganisms with organic contaminants and their application in waste valorization, biocontrol, and high-value compound production (e.g., biosurfactants, PHAs). He teaches courses on microbiology, waste treatment, and analytical methodologies for food production sustainability.
