Marcin Wysocki

Dr. Marcin Wysocki is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Graphic Arts at SWPS University, serving as Vice-Dean for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Law and Social Communication in Wrocław. His research and practice focus on graphic design, motion design, and service design for cultural institutions. He leads the publishing department at the Kronika Centre for Contemporary Art in Bytom and has won major awards including the Polish Graphic Design Awards (Grand Prize, 2019 & 2022). His work emphasizes innovative visual communication, blending traditional and digital mediums.

Education: PhD in Service Design for Cultural Institutions from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice (2020). Teaching roles at multiple universities since 2012, specializing in motion design and visual communication. Key projects include exhibition posters for 'Hidden in a Plain Site' and 'Mamidła', which utilize motion-first design principles to create memorable visual identities.
