Professor Marcin Wojcik serves as Dean of the Faculty of Geographical Sciences and Head of the Department of Regional and Social Geography at the University of Lodz. With a distinguished academic career spanning over two decades, he has established himself as a leading figure in geographical sciences at the institution.
Professor Wojcik's research focuses on settlement geography across multiple dimensions, with particular expertise in rural and urban contexts. His scholarly interests include:
- Rural Geography (approximately 48% of publications)

- Theoretical and Methodological Aspects of Human Geography (approximately 8%)
