Marcin Polkowski

Marcin Polkowski is a Professor at the Department of Dutch Literature, Faculty of Humanities, John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. His academic career spans roles at the University of Warsaw and habilitation in 2012 on early modern religious culture in Delft. He specializes in interactions between religious literature and culture of the Low Countries, comparative studies of Polish-Dutch literary relations, and medieval-to-early-modern devotional texts.

His scholarship includes analyses of Middle Dutch prayer books, comparative studies of Polish-Dutch historical dramas, and investigations into the cultural legacy of Delft's printing houses. He has received internal awards from the Catholic University of Lublin for his teaching and research.
