Marcin Luczkowski

Marcin Luczkowski serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Structural Engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Faculty of Engineering. His research focuses on developing form finding methods for shells and long span structures, with special emphasis on digital fabrication and mass customization. He is a key member of the Conceptual Structural Designing Group where he investigates new numerical methods to improve building processes and bridge the gap between design and manufacturing.

His research interests include structural optimization, parametric design, building information modeling (BIM), and computational methods for structural engineering. Luczkowski's work centers on creating better numerical methods for form finding, improving building process quality, adapting parametric platforms for structural engineering according to manufacturing changes, and developing more effective usage of BIM and FEM for digital fabrication.
