معرفی
Dr. Marcin Gruszecki is a Research Fellow at the University of Warwick's Department of Physics, affiliated with the Physics Centre for Fusion, Space and Astrophysics. His research focuses on magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) waves in the solar corona, with expertise in solar physics, plasma physics, and theoretical astrophysics. He holds a PhD in Astrophysics from Maria Curie Sklodowska University in Lublin, Poland, where his thesis titled 'Numerical simulation of MHD waves in solar corona' was supervised by Prof. K. Murawski.
Gruszecki's work includes studies on fast sausage modes, magnetoacoustic shocks, and Alfvénic vortex shedding. He has published in high-impact journals such as Astronomy & Astrophysics (A&A) and Physical Review Letters (PRL). His research has been recognized through the Newton Fellowship.
- Education:
- PhD in Astrophysics, Maria Curie Sklodowska University (2009)
- MSc in Theoretical Physics, Maria Curie Sklodowska University (2005)
His scientific contributions span numerical simulations of stellar atmospheres and the dynamics of plasma waves in solar environments. Despite no listed students or grants, his work bridges theoretical models with observational data in solar physics.
He is part of the Physics Centre for Fusion, Space and Astrophysics, collaborating with global researchers on topics like magnetic null points and wave interactions in plasma systems.
