Marcia Blake

Marcia Blake is a Lecturer in Adult Nursing at the School of Nursing, University of Wolverhampton, within the Faculty of Education, Health & Wellbeing. Her work focuses on nursing education, cardiovascular rehabilitation, and equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in healthcare.

She investigates inclusive curriculum design, student attainment in health education, and clinical skills training. Recent studies explore physical activity interventions for cancer survivors and emotional drivers of eating behavior.

Marcia’s publications reflect her expertise in Geriatric Oncology, Health Psychology, and Medical Education, with a focus on systematic reviews, patient-centered care, and evidence-based teaching practices.

Marcia previously worked as a Community Staff Nurse, GP Practice Nurse, and Palliative Care Nurse in the NHS. She has also served as a Visiting Lecturer, Research Assistant, and Lab Technician at the University of Wolverhampton.
