Marcello Sallì is a Researcher in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at Link Campus University, Rome. He holds a Medical degree from the University of Palermo, a specialization in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine from the University of Roma Tor Vergata, and a PhD in Advanced Technology in Rehabilitation Medicine from the same institution. His clinical roles include head physiatrist at Azienda Sanitaria Provinciale di Palermo, following prior service at AOU Policlinico Paolo Giaccone in Palermo and a research fellowship at Parma University Hospital. He has taught at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, University of Amman (Jordan), and University of Palermo within higher education programs.
His research spans critical rehabilitation domains:
- Rehabilitative interventions for rheumatic diseases and pediatric paramorphisms/dysmorphisms
- Integrated pharmacological-rehabilitative approaches for osteoporosis, metabolic bone disorders, and fragility fractures
- Neurorehabilitation for post-neurosurgical disabilities and chronic pain syndromes
- Advanced techniques including ultrasound-guided joint infiltrations, orthotics, and sports-related musculoskeletal therapy
