Marcelline Bengaly serves as Full Professor in the School of Counselling and Guidance within Laval University's Faculty of Education. Her research bridges theoretical psychology and practical intervention through three interconnected programs focused on identity reconstruction during complex life transitions.

- Constructivist approaches for supporting immigrants and refugees through psychosocial transitions
- Analysis of PhD holders' career paths outside academia and associated identity transformations
- Digital inequality challenges in Sub-Saharan Africa with development of context-specific solutions
