Marcella Cardoza McCollum

Marcella Cardoza McCollum is a Lecturer and Clinic Director in the Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences at San José State University. She holds a Master of Arts from CSU-San José (2005). Her work focuses on clinical supervision, interprofessional collaboration in healthcare, and equity issues in special education and graduate admissions. She directs the Communicative Disorders Clinic and organizes clinical supervision workshops earning ASHA CEUs for participants.

Her research explores disparities in study habits reporting among occupational therapy students, barriers faced by students of color in graduate admissions, and bilingual special education models.
