Dr. Marc Vander Linden is an Associate Professor and Faculty Lead for Internationalisation at Bournemouth University, affiliated with the Institute for the Modelling of Socio-Environmental Transitions (IMSET). His research focuses on Holocene Europe, particularly population prehistory, human-environment interactions, and archaeological modelling. He has conducted fieldwork in Belgium, Syria, the UK, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Montenegro, emphasizing long-term socio-environmental transitions.
His work contributes to UN SDG 13 (Climate Action), exploring anthropogenic impacts and ecosystem dynamics.
