Marc Torka is a sociologist of higher education, science, and the profession. He holds positions as a Research Associate at the Department of Sociology and Social Policy, University of Sydney (Australia), and at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center. He is also a visiting scholar at the Center of Studies in Higher Education (CSHE) at UC Berkeley and a Research Fellow of the German Research Foundation (DFG).
