Marc Pinsonneault is a Professor and University Distinguished Scholar in the Department of Astronomy at The Ohio State University. His research focuses on theoretical stellar structure and evolution, particularly utilizing asteroseismic data from missions like Kepler and spectroscopic surveys such as Apache Point Observatory Galactic Evolution Experiment (APOGEE). He pioneered work on the solar neutrino problem and angular momentum evolution of stars.
