Marc Lecuit is a Professor of Medicine at Paris Descartes University and Head of the Biology of Infection Unit at the Institut Pasteur in Paris. He also serves as Director of Inserm Unit 1117 and has held leadership roles such as Director of the Department of Cell Biology and Infection (2019–2023) and Deputy Head of the Division of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine at Necker-Enfants Malades University Hospital. His research focuses on cell biology, microbial pathogenesis, and clinical medicine, with significant contributions to understanding listeria and emerging infections.
