Marc Hijma

Dr. Marc Hijma is a geologist and guest researcher at Wageningen University & Research's Soil Geography and Landscape department, with over 20 years of expertise in subsurface dynamics and delta environments. He works at Deltares and collaborates internationally with universities and organizations like Rijkswaterstaat. His research focuses on sea-level changes, land subsidence, coastal management, North Sea geology/archaeology, and fluvial-deltaic systems.
