Marc Bouzas Sabater is a Research Fellow in the Department of History and History of Art at the University of Girona, specializing in Archaeology within the Historical Research Institute.
His research focuses on three core areas:
- Archaeology: Material culture analysis and excavation methodologies
- Ancient History: Sociopolitical structures of classical civilizations
- Prehistory: Human evolution and Paleolithic/Mesolithic societies
As an active member of the Research Group Laboratory of Archaeology, Ancient History and Prehistory, Dr. Bouzas Sabater conducts interdisciplinary fieldwork integrating stratigraphic analysis, artifact typology, and historical contextualization to reconstruct past human behaviors and cultural developments across Mediterranean and Iberian contexts.
