Marc-André Rhéaume

Marc-André Rhéaume is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Université de Montréal's Faculty of Medicine. He specializes in retinal disease and surgery, practicing at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) and the 2121 Ophthalmology Clinic in Montreal. He serves as the residency program director for ophthalmology at CHUM and is a member of the Université de Montréal's ophthalmology residency committee.

Education: MD from Université de Montréal, residency in ophthalmology at Université de Montréal, followed by a fellowship in retinal disease and surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Harvard Medical School in Boston.

Research interests focus on the visual system and ophthalmological advancements. His clinical expertise includes complex retinal conditions and surgical interventions. He is affiliated with CHUM and contributes to teaching and training future ophthalmologists.
