Mara Simon is an Associate Professor of Physical Education and Health Education at Springfield College’s School of Physical Education, Performance and Sport Leadership. She holds a Doctor of Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and specializes in critical pedagogies, racial inequity, and qualitative research methods.
