معرفی
Maor Sauler, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine (Pulmonary) at Yale School of Medicine. He specializes in adult critical care, COPD, and acute lung injury. His research focuses on mechanisms of lung injury and resilience, particularly how aging and COPD alter cellular stress responses. He completed his MD at Rutgers and training at Yale, including residency and fellowship in pulmonary/critical care.
Education: BA (Princeton, 2001), MD (Rutgers, 2006), residency/internal medicine (Yale-New Haven, 2007–2009), pulmonary/critical care fellowship (Yale School of Medicine, 2014).
Research Interests: Dr. Sauler investigates COPD mechanisms, lung repair, and age-related susceptibility. Key areas include DNA repair defects, miRNA regulation, and immune signaling in lung diseases. His work integrates genomic/epigenomic approaches with in vivo models.
Publications: Over 80 peer-reviewed articles, including studies on COPD alveolar niches (Nature Communications, 2022), MIF deficiency (Am J Physiol-Lung, 2014), and fibrosis pathways (JCI Insight, 2021). Themes emphasize translational research linking molecular mechanisms to clinical outcomes.
