Manuela Rebaudengo is an Associate Professor and Tenured Researcher at the Interuniversity Department of Territorial Sciences, Planning and Policies (DIST) at the Polytechnic University of Turin. She is also a member of the R3C (Responsible Risk Resilience Center), the Executive Committee of the Master's and Continuing Education School, and the University Quality Assurance Committee. She serves as Deputy Coordinator of the College of Civil Engineering and is the contact person for the Building Engineering degree program (L3LM).
Her research focuses on economic evaluation, cost-benefit analysis, urban transformations, resilience, real estate markets, public-private partnerships (PPP), and policy assessment. She integrates engineering and economic methodologies to analyze the sustainability and feasibility of urban development projects, especially in the context of climate change and social equity. Her work aligns with SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and spans disciplines such as civil engineering, environmental policy, and urban studies.
The recent publications highlight her focus on urban resilience, governance in inner territories, hydroelectric compensation models, and data-driven territorial planning. Her work often involves interdisciplinary collaboration and practical applications in Italian urban contexts.
She is actively involved in research leadership, serving as Scientific Manager for multiple projects, including evaluations of social housing in Turin and energy economics in software development. She contributes to editorial work as a Guest Editor for the journal Sustainability and participates in scientific committees of national conferences.

She supervises PhD student Umberto Mecca and teaches courses such as Investment Evaluation for Urban Transformations and Economic Sustainability Assessment of Projects across Building Engineering and Architecture programs. She has been teaching since 2011 and has held leadership roles in academic governance since 2020.
She is involved in several research projects, including the PNRR-funded RETURN - Spoke TS1 on multi-risk science for resilient communities. Her collaborative agreements include work with the Municipality of Turin on housing and marginalization issues under Mission 5 of the PNRR.
