Dr. Manuel Ramos is a Lecturer in Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths, University of London, specializing in film theory, media studies, and political aesthetics. He holds a PhD in Visual Cultures from Goldsmiths (2013), an MA in Contemporary Art Theory from the same institution, and a BA in Art History from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. His research examines the interplay between political discourse and audiovisual media, particularly focusing on radical cinema practices and emancipatory spectatorship.
