Manuel Pinelo

Manuel Pinelo is a Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), affiliated with the PROSYS - Process and Systems Engineering Centre. His research focuses on sustainable bioprocess engineering, including membrane reactors, bioconversion systems, and advanced separation technologies using deep eutectic solvents. He actively supervises PhD students in projects related to bioreactor optimization, microbial consortia adaptation, and enzyme immobilization.
