Prof. Dr. Manuel Ostermeier leads the Chair of Resilient Operations at the Center for Climate Resilience and the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Augsburg. His research focuses on sustainable and resilient logistics concepts in supply chains, with applications in food waste prevention, autonomous vehicles, and data-driven optimization. He collaborates internationally with institutions like the Polytechnic University of Porto and industry partners on projects such as the Green Hospital initiative, which addresses healthcare supply chain sustainability.
