Manuel Modesto Alapont

Dr. Manuel Modesto Alapont is an Associate Professor at the Department of Medicine and Surgery, Cardenal Herrera CEU University. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Valencia in 1998, obtained a Specialist Degree in Pulmonology (2000-2004) at La Fe University Hospital, and earned a PhD in Medicine (2003) with the thesis on Perfusion CT accuracy for cancer diagnosis, awarded Outstanding Cum Laude.

Dr. Alapont has held a permanent position as Specialist Physician in Pulmonology at the Provincial Hospital Consortium of Castellón since 2009, with prior roles in home hospitalization units and pulmonology services across Valencia hospitals (La Fe, Doctor Peset, IVO Foundation). He serves on the hospital’s Research Committee.
