Manudeo Singh is a Research Fellow at the Department of Geography and Earth Sciences, Aberystwyth University. He holds prestigious fellowships including the Newton International Fellowship (2023) and Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship (2021–2023). His research focuses on surface water dynamics, remote sensing applications, wetland hydrogeomorphology, and climate change impacts in the Ganga Plains and other regions. Singh completed his PhD at IIT Kanpur, India, and has contributed extensively to understanding floodplain wetland dynamics, hydrological connectivity, and environmental monitoring using Earth Observation techniques.
